Brooklyn Hurricanes (Brooklyn, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Trinity Trojans (Garfield Heights, OH), 57-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Brooklyn upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Independence (Independence, OH) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Chagrin Valley - Metro bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Independence won 43-29 in their recent league bout against Lutheran West (Rocky River, OH)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Berkshire Badgers (Burton, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Trinity will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Badgers go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 50-39 league win over Crestwood (Mantua, OH).
