In their next game, the Hornets face the Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers (Greenfield, IL) in a Western Illinois Valley game, on Tuesday, January 31. Brown County will attempt to move on its 27-3 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 19-10 record after their 50-18 league win over North Greene (White Hall, IL).

With the defeat, Illini West moves to 15-14 on the year. The Chargers travel to Havana (Havana, IL) to face the Ducks in a non-league game on Thursday, February 2. The Ducks enter the game with a record of 24-3. Havana won 62-24 in their recent league game against Astoria/VIT (Astoria, IL)
