The Grenada Chargers basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Coffeeville Pirates to 47 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Chargers now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DeSoto Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31.
The Pirates (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Oxford (Oxford, MS). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 11-15 record. In their last contest, Oxford was nudged by Starkville (Starkville, MS), 49-40, in a league contest.
