In Saturday's non-league match, the host Cordia Lions basketball team scored a good 32-15 triumph over the Fairview Eagles.
In their next game, the Lions meet the Knott County Central Patriots (Hindman, KY) in a District 53 match, on Tuesday, January 31. Cordia will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record.
With the defeat, Fairview moves to 3-9 on the year. The Eagles travel to East Carter (Grayson, KY) to meet the Raiders in a non-league match on Monday, January 30. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 3-10.
