Legacy Academy Silverbacks (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Coronado Leopards (Gallina, NM), 59-17 in a league bout.

With the win, Legacy Academy upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Silverbacks travel to New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM) to clash with the Roadrunners in a A District 7 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Roadrunners go into the bout with a record of 2-7. New Mexico School for the Deaf lost 55-11 in their recent league bout against Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM)

Next up, the Leopards clash with the Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy Eagle (Albuquerque, NM) in a A District 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Coronado will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Eagle go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 54-38 league win over Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM).
