Ohio High School Basketball - Grand Valley thwarts Wickliffe

The Grand Valley Mustangs (Orwell, OH) basketball knocked off the host Wickliffe Blue Devils (Wickliffe, OH), 52-43 in Saturday's league test.
The Mustangs (10-9) will now prepare for their test against Berkshire (Burton, OH). The Badgers go into the Chagrin Valley - Valley test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Berkshire went down by Trinity (Garfield Heights, OH), 52-42, in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Kirtland for a Chagrin Valley - Valley test on Wednesday, February 1. Wickliffe will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 50-30 non-league win over Newton Falls (Newton Falls, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 10-7.
