The Mt. Edgecumbe Braves tipped the visiting Homer Mariners basketball team by a final score of 50-44 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Braves confront the Sitka Wolves (Sitka, AK) in a 3A Eastern battle, on Friday, February 3. Mt. Edgecumbe will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Wolves come into the battle with a 10-3 record after their 31-16 non-league win over Homer (Homer, AK).
The Mariners (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK). The Grizzlies come into the 3A Peninsula battle with a 7-2 record.
