The Lake Region Rangers (Orleans, VT) basketball crushed the visiting Montpelier Solons (Montpelier, VT), 50-28 in Saturday's league test.
The Rangers (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Randolph (Randolph, VT). The Ghosts go into the Capital test with a 1-12 record.
The Solons now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they host U-32 for a Capital test on Wednesday, February 1. Montpelier will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 45-40 league loss to Oxbow (Bradford, VT). The Raiders record now stands at 0-13.
