Texas High School Basketball - Spring thwarts MacArthur

January 28, 2023: Spring, TX 77373

The Spring Lions (Spring, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting MacArthur Generals (Houston, TX), 41-24 in Saturday's league test.

The Lions (20-8) will now prepare for their test against Dekaney (Houston, TX). The Wildcats go into the 6A Region II District 14 test with a 0-23 record. In their last test, Dekaney went down by Aldine (Houston, TX), 39-25, in a league test.

The Generals now own a 11-16 record. They play next when they host Westfield for a 6A Region II District 14 test on Wednesday, February 1.
