Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME) and the visiting Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME), saw Oceanside's basketball squad wallop Medomak Valley by a tally of 59-24.

With the victory, Oceanside improves its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to Leavitt (Turner, ME) to confront the Hornets in a B South challenge on Monday, January 30. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 4-8. Leavitt lost 45-32 in their recent league challenge against Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME) in a B South challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Medomak Valley will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 56-35 league loss to Maranacook (Readfield, ME).
