The Mercy Tigers (Middletown, CT) basketball crushed the visiting Norwich Free Academy Wildcats (Norwich, CT), 53-28 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Tigers (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Career Magnet (New Haven, CT). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 1-13 record. In their last test, Career Magnet was trounced by Shelton (Shelton, CT), 58-43, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Killingly for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Norwich Free Academy will encounter a Redmen squad coming off a 46-25 non-league win over Waterford (Waterford, CT). The Redmen record now stands at 9-3.
