The Monte Del Sol Charter Dragons basketball team (Santa Fe, NM), was overwhelmed 46-5 in Saturday's league battle with the host Native American Community Academy Eagles (Albuquerque, NM)
The Eagles now possess a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tierra Encantada for a 2A District 2 battle on Thursday, February 2. Native American Community Academy will confront a team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Academy for Technology and The Classics (Santa Fe, NM). The record now stands at 0-15.
The Dragons (1-16) will now prepare for their battle against Estancia (Estancia, NM). The Bears come into the 2A District 2 battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, Estancia trounced Menaul (Albuquerque, NM), 59-40, in a league battle.
