Kansas High School Basketball - Mulvane knocked off by Wellington

The Wellington Crusaders basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Mulvane Wildcats to 23 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Crusaders now sport a 13-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Augusta for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Wellington will meet a Orioles team coming off a 57-43 non-league loss to Kapaun Mt. Carmel (Wichita, KS). The Orioles record now stands at 5-7.
The Wildcats (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Collegiate (Wichita, KS). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Collegiate ran past Haysville Campus (Wichita, KS), 52-26, in a non-league contest.
