West Virginia High School Basketball - North Marion crushes Weir

January 28, 2023: Weirton, WV 26062

North Marion Huskies (Farmington, WV) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Weir Red Riders (Weirton, WV), 90-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Marion upgrades its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Lewis County (Weston, WV) to play the Minutemen in a Big Ten bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Minutemen come into the bout with a record of 12-3. Lewis County lost 56-51 in their recent league bout against East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV)

Next up, the Red Riders play the East Liverpool Potters (East Liverpool, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Weir will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Potters come into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 56-21 non-league win over David Anderson (Lisbon, OH).
