The North Plainfield Canucks (North Plainfield, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ), 52-44 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Canucks (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Matawan Regional (Aberdeen, NJ). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 1-17 record.

The Tigers now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Montgomery for a non-league test on Monday, January 30. South Plainfield will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 68-28 non-league loss to The Pingry School (Martinsville, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 2-15.
