The Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) basketball crushed the visiting Paint Branch Panthers (Burtonsville, MD), 50-24 in Saturday's league test.
The Warriors (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Whitman (Bethesda, MD). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Whitman was trounced by Quince Orchard (Gaithersburg, MD), 47-34, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Poolesville for a non-league test on Monday, January 30. Paint Branch will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 62-49 non-league loss to Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 9-5.
