In Saturday's non-league outing, the Waterford Wildcats (Waterford, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting Venture Academy Mustangs (Stockton, CA), by a margin of 48-29.

The Wildcats (17-6) will now prepare for their outing against Le Grand (Le Grand, CA). The Bulldogs go into the Southern League outing with a 2-10 record. In their last outing, Le Grand was beaten by Orestimba (Newman, CA), 47-22, in a league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they host Big Valley Christian for a Central California Athletic Alliance outing on Tuesday, January 31. Venture Academy will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 46-32 league win over Millennium (Tracy, CA). The Lions record now stands at 15-5.
