California High School Basketball - Del Mar can't hold off Gilroy

The Del Mar Dons basketball team (San Jose, CA), was nudged 33-29 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA)

The Mustangs now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Pleasant for a battle on Tuesday, January 31. Gilroy will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 38-26 league loss to Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-8.

The Dons (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA). The Acorns come into the battle with a 2-4 record.
