In Saturday's league challenge, the Avon Old Farms Beavers (Avon, CT) ice hockey team the host Choate Rosemary Hall School Wild Boars (Wallingford, CT), by a margin of 4-1.
The Beavers now possess a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westminster School for a challenge on Wednesday, February 1. Avon Old Farms will clash with a Martlets team coming off a 6-1 league win over Williston Northampton (Easthampton, MA). The Martlets record now stands at 9-6.
The Wild Boars (2-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT). The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Hotchkiss School by Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA), 2-1, in a league challenge.
