The Pope Francis Prep Cardinals ice hockey squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Bishop Hendricken Hawks to 3 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 2. Pope Francis Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record.
With the defeat, Bishop Hendricken moves to 9-4 on the season. The Hawks host Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI) to battle the Mounties in a State Championship Division game on Wednesday, February 1. The Mounties come into the game with a record of 6-11. Mount St. Charles Academy lost 5-1 in their recent league game against Prout (Wakefield, RI)
