In Saturday's league challenge, the Xaverian Brothers Hawks (Westwood, MA) ice hockey team nudged the host Malden Catholic Lancers (Malden, MA), by a margin of 4-3.
The Hawks now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boston College High for a challenge on Wednesday, February 1. Xaverian Brothers will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Catholic Memorial (West Roxbury, MA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-7.
The Lancers (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Catholic Memorial (West Roxbury, MA). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 10-1 record.
