Canisius Crusaders (Buffalo, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host McQuaid Jesuit Knights (Rochester, NY), 60-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Canisius upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Crusaders host St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, NY) to play the Marauders in a bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Marauders go into the bout with a record of 7-5. St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute won 61-53 in their recent league bout against St. Francis (Hamburg, NY)

Next up, the Knights play the Franklin Bulldogs (Rochester, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. McQuaid Jesuit will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record.
