The Moriarty Pintos basketball team (Moriarty, NM), was overwhelmed 63-22 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM)
The Elks/Elkettes now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Los Alamos for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 31. Pojoaque Valley will confront a Hilltoppers team coming off a 57-41 non-league loss to Taos (Taos, NM). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 7-7.
The Pintos (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Robertson (Las Vegas, NM). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Robertson trounced St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM), 55-53, in a non-league battle.
