New York High School Basketball - Christ the King fells Bishop Loughlin

Christ the King Royals (Middle Village, NY) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bishop Loughlin Lions (Brooklyn, NY), 72-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Christ the King upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Royals travel to Nazareth (Brooklyn, NY) to play the Kingsmen in a Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Kingsmen go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Nazareth won 69-64 in their recent non-league bout against Monsignor Scanlan (Bronx, NY)

Next up, the Lions play the Xaverian Clippers (Brooklyn, NY) in a Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens bout, on Friday, February 2. Bishop Loughlin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record.
