Texas High School Basketball - Adams trounced by North Mesquite

The Adams Cougars basketball squad (Dallas, TX), was crushed 72-23 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting North Mesquite Stallions (Mesquite, TX)

With the victory, North Mesquite advances its record to 17-9 on the year. The Stallions host West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX) to meet the Wranglers in a 5A Region II District 14 battle on Friday, January 31. The Wranglers enter the battle with a record of 22-3. West Mesquite won 72-46 in their recent league test against Seagoville (Dallas, TX)

The Cougars (6-20) will now prepare for their test against Samuell (Dallas, TX). The Spartans come into the 5A Region II District 14 test with a 1-27 record. In their last test, Samuell was routed by Poteet (Mesquite, TX), 45-41, in a league test.
