Colorado High School Basketball - Air Academy beaten by Palmer Ridge

January 28, 2025: US Air Force Academy, CO 80840

The Palmer Ridge Bears were victorious over the host Air Academy Kadets basketball squad by a final score of 50-39 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Bears face the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 5A/4A Pikes Peak outing, on Friday, January 31. Palmer Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Red-Tailed Hawks enter the battle with a 13-3 record after their 62-55 league win over Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO).

The Kadets now own a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lutheran for a 5A/4A Pikes Peak battle on Thursday, January 30. Air Academy will meet a Lions squad coming off a 74-59 league loss to Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO). The Lions record now stands at 13-3.
