In Tuesday's league test, the Gateway Gators (Monroeville, PA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Albert Gallatin Colonials (Uniontown, PA), by a score of 56-30.

Next, the Gators clash with the Uniontown Red Raiders (Uniontown, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 1 test, on Friday, January 31. Gateway will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Red Raiders come into the test with a 16-3 record after their 79-53 league win over McKeesport (McKeesport, PA).

The Colonials (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, PA). The Mustangs come into the WPIAL 5A 1 test with a 4-15 record. In their last test, Laurel Highlands was routed by Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA), 49-44, in a league test.
