In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Almond-Bancroft Eagles basketball team scored a big 50-24 triumph over the Amherst Falcons.

The Eagles (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pittsville (Pittsville, WI). The Panthers go into the Central Wisconsin - South contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Pittsville was trounced by Nekoosa (Nekoosa, WI), 62-53, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Auburndale Apaches (Auburndale, WI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Amherst will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Apaches go into the contest with a 14-1 record after their 50-36 league win over Newman (Wausau, WI).
