Kansas High School Basketball - Anderson County nips Humboldt

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Anderson County Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 57-53 win over the Humboldt Cubs.

The Bulldogs (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Central Heights (Richmond, KS). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Central Heights was tipped by Osawatomie (Osawatomie, KS), 69-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cubs battle the Erie Red Devils (Erie, KS) in a Tri-Valley contest, on Friday, January 31. Humboldt will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Red Devils come into the contest with a 4-8 record after their 79-46 league loss to Fredonia (Fredonia, KS).
