The Archer City Wildcats basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Olney Cubs to 46 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now have a 7-15 record. They play next when they travel to Windthorst for a 2A Region II District 9 game on Friday, January 31. Archer City will confront a Trojans team coming off a 51-45 league loss to Seymour (Seymour, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 16-9.

With the loss, Olney falls to 9-18 on the campaign. The Cubs host Electra (Electra, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 2A Region II District 9 game on Friday, January 31. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 17-9. Electra won 57-52 in their recent league game against Archer City (Archer City, TX)
