The Tanagers (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Ann (Fort Ann, NY). The Cardinals come into the Section 2 Adirondack challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Fort Ann was routed by Granville (Granville, NY), 78-37, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Scots encounter the Whitehall Railroaders (Whitehall, NY) in a Section 2 Adirondack challenge, on Friday, January 31. Argyle will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Railroaders come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 89-66 non-league win over Crown Point (Crown Point, NY).
