In Tuesday's league contest, the host Grace Christian Lions basketball team scored a good 67-50 win over the Arlington Memorial Eagles.
With the victory, Grace Christian advances its record to 11-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Sharon Academy (Sharon, VT) to meet the Phoenix in a Southern Vermont - D battle on Friday, January 31. The Phoenix enter the battle with a record of 0-14. Sharon Academy lost 100-31 in their recent league battle against Proctor (Proctor, VT)
The Eagles now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Rutland for a Southern Vermont - D battle on Saturday, February 1. Arlington Memorial will meet a Golden Horde squad coming off a 65-41 league win over Long Trail (Dorset, VT). The Golden Horde record now stands at 13-1.
