Ohio High School Basketball - Boardman nudges Austintown-Fitch

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) and the host Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH), observed Boardman's basketball team edge Austintown-Fitch by a score of 74-70.

The Spartans (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Harding (Warren, OH). The Raiders come into the All-American challenge with a 13-3 record. In their last challenge, Harding was tipped by Washington (Massillon, OH), 72-67, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Howland Tigers (Warren, OH) in a All-American challenge, on Friday, January 31. Austintown-Fitch will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 61-38 non-league win over McKinley (Niles, OH).
