Oregon High School Basketball - Gold Beach nips Bandon

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Gold Beach Panthers basketball team scored a close 38-36 triumph over the Bandon Tigers.
The Panthers (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Myrtle Point (Myrtle Point, OR). The Bobcats go into the 2A Sunset contest with a 3-17 record. In their last contest, Myrtle Point was tipped by Oakland (Oakland, OR), 66-36, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Illinois Valley Cougars (Cave Junction, OR) in a 2A Sunset contest, on Thursday, January 30. Bandon will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 12-7 record after their 67-59 league win over Reedsport (Reedsport, OR).
