In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Bastrop Rams basketball team scored a close 68-61 win over the Carroll Bulldogs.

The Rams (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Sterlington (Sterlington, LA). The Panthers come into the 3A District 1 contest with a 11-14 record. In their last contest, Sterlington was tipped by Richwood (Monroe, LA), 97-76, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Union Parish Farmers (Farmerville, LA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 29. Carroll will attempt to better on its 20-16 season record. The Farmers come into the contest with a 12-13 record after their 44-41 league win over Homer (Homer, LA).
