In Tuesday's league test, the Bear Lake Lakers (Bear Lake, MI) basketball squad defeated the visiting Mesick Bulldogs (Mesick, MI), by a score of 59-45.

Next, the Lakers clash with the St. Mary Eagles (Lake Leelanau, MI) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 31. Bear Lake will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record.

The Bulldogs (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Crossroads Charter Academy (Big Rapids, MI). The Cougars come into the West Michigan D test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, Crossroads Charter Academy went down by Mason County Eastern (Custer, MI), 62-16, in a league test.
