The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix (Winston-Salem, NC) and the host Bethany Community Wolves (Summerfield, NC), observed Winston-Salem Prep's basketball team overwhelm Bethany Community by a margin of 84-33.

The Phoenix (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC). The Bobcats come into the 1A Northwest Piedmont challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, Piedmont Classical trounced Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC), 57-45, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolves battle the Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC) in a 1A Northwest Piedmont challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Bethany Community will attempt to better on its 4-19 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 64-60 league loss to College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC).
