The Martin Warriors basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Bowie Volunteers to 49 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now have a 19-12 record. They play next when they travel to Haltom for a 6A Region I District 8 game on Friday, January 31. Martin will confront a Buffalos team coming off a 73-54 league loss to Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Buffalos record now stands at 6-16.

With the loss, Bowie falls to 17-11 on the campaign. The Volunteers travel to Arlington (Arlington, TX) to confront the Colts in a 6A Region I District 8 game on Friday, January 31. The Colts go into the game with a record of 12-17. Arlington lost 66-64 in their recent league game against Sam Houston (Arlington, TX)
