The Boyden-Hull Comets basketball squad (Hull, IA), was crushed 77-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting West Lyon Wildcats (Inwood, IA)
With the victory, West Lyon advances its record to 14-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA) to meet the Warriors in a Siouxland battle on Friday, January 31. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 10-6. Sioux Center lost 63-54 in their recent league battle against Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA)
The Comets now own a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 30. Boyden-Hull will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 64-40 league loss to Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union (Marcus, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 6-10.
