The Branford Buccaneers basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Dixie County Bears to 31 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Buccaneers now have a 10-11 record. They play next when they host Bronson for a non-league game on Friday, January 31. Branford will confront a Eagles team coming off a 77-33 non-league loss to Fort White (Fort White, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 11-8.

With the loss, Dixie County falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Bears host Bell (Bell, FL) to confront the Bulldogs in a Rural District 6 game on Thursday, January 30. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 6-16. Bell lost 77-43 in their recent non-league game against Interlachen (Interlachen, FL)
