The Lions (13-14) will now prepare for their contest against Eastland (Eastland, TX). The Mavericks go into the 3A Region I District 8 contest with a 3-20 record. In their last contest, Eastland nipped Early (Early, TX), 41-35, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Buckaroos battle the Millsap Bulldogs (Millsap, TX) in a 3A Region I District 8 contest, on Friday, January 31. Breckenridge will attempt to better on its 14-14 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 9-21 record after their 57-47 league win over Comanche (Comanche, TX).
