Kansas High School Basketball - South Central crushes Bucklin

January 28, 2025: Bucklin, KS 67834

The South Central Timberwolves (Coldwater, KS) basketball crushed the host Bucklin Red Aces (Bucklin, KS), 72-42 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Timberwolves now possess a 13-0 record. They play next when they travel to Kiowa County for a Southern Plains-Iroquois bout on Tuesday, February 4. South Central will play a Mavericks team coming off a 51-37 non-league win over Ingalls (Ingalls, KS). The Mavericks record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Bucklin falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Red aces travel to Hodgeman County (Jetmore, KS) to play the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Friday, January 31. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Hodgeman County lost 39-38 in their recent non-league bout against Meade (Meade, KS)
