Maryland High School Basketball - Bullis can't hold off Landon

Landon Bears (Bethesda, MD) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Bullis Bulldogs (Potomac, MD), 61-60 in a league match.
With the victory, Landon advances its record to 9-10 on the year. The Bears travel to St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Alexandria, VA) to face the Saints in a Interstate Athletic match on Friday, January 31. The Saints enter the match with a record of 18-3. St. Stephen's & St. Agnes won 64-59 in their recent non-league match against Flint Hill (Oakton, VA)
The Bulldogs now own a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Episcopal for a Interstate Athletic match on Friday, January 31. Bullis will face a Maroon squad coming off a 86-83 league win over St. Albans (Washington, DC). The Maroon record now stands at 11-5.
