In Tuesday's league test, the Lac Courte Oreilles Eagles (Hayward, WI) basketball squad trounced the visiting Butternut Midgets (Butternut, WI), by a score of 60-3.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Drummond Lumberjacks (Drummond, WI) in a Northern Lights test, on Friday, January 31. Lac Courte Oreilles will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Lumberjacks come into the test with a 9-6 record after their 49-42 league win over Hurley (Hurley, WI).

The Midgets (0-11) will now prepare for their test against Mellen (Mellen, WI). The Granite Diggers come into the Northern Lights test with a 13-2 record. In their last test, Mellen bounced Washburn (Washburn, WI), 54-32, in a league test.
