The Central Tigers basketball team scored 72 points and limited the host Little Rock Southwest Gryphons to 63 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now possess a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Jonesboro for a 6A Central game on Friday, January 31. Central will confront a Hurricane team coming off a 46-41 league win over Conway (Conway, AR). The Hurricane record now stands at 20-1.

With the loss, Little Rock Southwest falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Gryphons travel to Conway (Conway, AR) to confront the Wampus Cats in a 6A Central game on Tuesday, February 4. The Wampus Cats go into the game with a record of 11-9. Conway lost 83-60 in their recent league game against Bryant (Bryant, AR)
