Next, the Huskies clash with the University School Buccaneers (Johnson City, TN) in a 1A District 1 test, on Friday, January 31. North Greene will attempt to upgrade on its 15-4 season record. The Buccaneers come into the test with a 12-5 record after their 54-49 non-league win over Volunteer (Church Hill, TN).

The Chiefs (8-13) will now prepare for their test against Claiborne (New Tazewell, TN). The Bulldogs come into the 3A District 2 test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Claiborne went down by Greeneville (Greeneville, TN), 81-35, in a league test.
