The Chesapeake Panthers basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting South Point Pointers to 41 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now have a 15-1 record. They play next when they travel to Dawson-Bryant for a Ohio Valley game on Friday, January 31. Chesapeake will confront a Hornets team coming off a 56-53 league loss to Portsmouth (Portsmouth, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 6-10.

With the loss, South Point falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Pointers host Green (Franklin Furnace, OH) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 29. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 8-8. Green won 73-30 in their recent league game against East (Sciotoville, OH)
