The Happy Valley Warriors basketball squad (Elizabethton, TN), was nudged 62-57 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Chuckey-Doak Black Knights (Afton, TN)
With the victory, Chuckey-Doak advances its record to 6-15 on the year. The Black Knights host Johnson County (Mountain City, TN) to meet the Longhorns in a 2A District 1 battle on Friday, January 31. The Longhorns enter the battle with a record of 9-13. Johnson County won 69-65 in their recent league battle against West Greene (Mosheim, TN)
The Warriors now own a 2-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampton for a 2A District 1 battle on Friday, January 31. Happy Valley will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 55-47 league loss to South Greene (Greeneville, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-7.
