The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wisner-Pilger Gators (Wisner, NE) and the host Clarkson/Leigh Patriots (Clarkson, NE), observed Wisner-Pilger's basketball team edge Clarkson/Leigh by a score of 59-55.

The Gators (3-14) will now prepare for their challenge against North Bend Central (North Bend, NE). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 9-8 record. In their last challenge, North Bend Central was tipped by Wayne (Wayne, NE), 43-37, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Howells-Dodge Jaguars (Howells, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Clarkson/Leigh will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record.
