Texas High School Basketball - Covenant falls to Prince of Peace

The Covenant Knights basketball squad (Dallas, TX), was outscored 50-39 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Prince of Peace Eagles (Carrollton, TX)

With the victory, Prince of Peace advances its record to 15-15 on the year. The Eagles host Covenant Christian (Colleyville, TX) to meet the Cougars in a TAPPS 4A District 2 battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 10-11. Covenant Christian won 78-44 in their recent league battle against Coram Deo Academy (Plano, TX)

The Knights now own a 19-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pantego Christian for a TAPPS 4A District 2 battle on Friday, January 31. Covenant will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 71-42 non-league win over Yavneh Academy (Dallas, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 18-12.
